Expanded Learning / After School Programs
The Moorpark Unified School District (MUSD) Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) vision is to increase academic achievement, social-emotional growth, leadership skills, and extra-curricular enrichment for all students in a caring, safe, and structured environment outside of the regular school day and instructional school year to foster the joy of learning.
Thank you for your interest in Moorpark Unified School District's (MUSD) Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELOP). MUSD offers after school programs to all TK - 6 students that are fee-based. Full scholarship in identified ELOP after school and summer programs are available to all families who are income-eligible, English Learners, homeless, and/or foster youth as long as space is available and students to staff ratios are maintained which are determined the California Department of Education. Funding for full scholarships are provided by the CA Department of Education.
The after school programs at each school site offer a variety of different opportunities for students. Please select the school that your student attends during the school year to determine what programs are available and the cost for each program.
Income-eligible families must submit a Free/Reduced Lunch Meal application with MUSD to determine if they qualify for an ELOP scholarship. Applications are available on the MUSD website located at this link: https://www.mrpk.org/districtoffice/business-services/child-nutrition
If you are interested in an ELOP scholarship and you meet income eligibility following completion of a Free/Reduced Lunch Meal Application or your student qualifies as an English Learner, homeless, and/or foster youth, please complete the following interest form to determine eligibility for an ELOP scholarship. MUSD will contact you with more information on how to register for an ELOP after school program if you are eligible. Gracias por su interés en los Programas de Oportunidades de Aprendizaje Ampliadas (ELOP) del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Moorpark (MUSD). MUSD ofrece programas extracurriculares a todos los estudiantes de TK a 6.º grado que son de pago.
