Upcoming Information Nights for the High School at Moorpark College

(Moorpark, California) September 12, 2025—Students can get a head start on their future at the High School at Moorpark College.
The High School at Moorpark College, a free public school founded by Moorpark Unified School District in 2000, allows students to earn both their high school diploma and college credits at the same time. HSMC is located on the Moorpark College, 7075 Campus Road, where high schoolers, beginning their freshman year, take both high school and college level classes.
Many students graduate from HSMC with all prerequisite college credits completed without having to take costly Advanced Placement tests. All college credits earned at the High School at Moorpark College are transferable to any university in the United States. This is in contrast to AP courses that are often conditionally accepted as college credit based on test scores and universities’ admissions policies.
The college credits earned at HSMC can cut tuition costs for four-year universities in half. That means less college debt and more financial freedom for graduates.
The High School at Moorpark College is open to any student in Ventura or Los Angeles counties. The school offers small class sizes and considerable schedule flexibility for juniors and seniors, including morning, afternoon and evening college courses.
Families interested in enrolling at the High School at Moorpark College are invited to attend any of the school’s upcoming admission information nights. Each session will be held in person from 6 to 7 p.m.
