Moorpark Unified School District's LCAP Survey Now Open

(Moorpark, California) Dec. 5, 2023—Moorpark Unified School District is asking students, parents and staff to take part in a brief, but important, survey to help the district develop its Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

The plan is used to determine how funds will be allocated for schools and specific educational programs.

The survey opened Mon., Dec. 4, and the deadline for all surveys is 4 p.m. Fri., Jan. 19.

“The LCAP survey serves as a way for our students, staff and families to have a meaningful role in the district's decision-making process for next year's budget priorities,” said Superintendent Dr. Kelli Hays. “We invite all families to take part in this important survey.”

The survey is available online in English and in Spanish at mrpk.org. The survey may also be completed on paper and is available at any school office or the district’s office, 5297 Maureen Lane.
