Five Moorpark High Seniors Take Part in Signing Day

(Moorpark, California) Nov. 8, 2023—Five Moorpark High School seniors took part in Signing Day on Nov. 8 at Moorpark High to make official their commitment to play collegiate athletics at their respective colleges and universities. Each of the students will receive athletic scholarships. 

Moorpark High’s administration and Athletics Department hosted the morning ceremony for friends, family and coaches to celebrate the athletes’ accomplishments.

The seniors are:

Brielle Bickham, girls’ soccer, Regis University in Denver, Colorado
Gianna Foss, girls’ soccer, Cal State University Monterey Bay in Seaside, California
Jacob Shannon-Wilkerson, baseball, Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon
Madison Finnerty, softball, Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Shae Anderson, softball, University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina

“Moorpark High School is so proud of these incredible seniors who will continue to compete at the collegiate level, an achievement that very few high school athletes reach,” Principal Zaid Bakoo said. “They have all proven themselves with their talent, time and commitment to their sport and to their academics.
