(Moorpark, California) March 3, 2025—Moorpark Adult School is offering two free courses to help community members gain valuable skills—and participants in the Computer Basics course will receive a free Chromebook upon completion.

The Computer Basics Course is an eight-week program designed for adults with little to no computer experience.

Held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moorpark Adult School, the course covers essential digital skills, including navigating a computer, using email, browsing the internet safely, and video calling. Graduates will receive a free Chromebook to continue practicing their skills at home.

For those in the restaurant industry, the ServSafe Restaurant Manager Exam Preparation Course begins March 17 and prepares students to earn their ServSafe Manager Certification, a requirement for leadership roles in food service.

The course, available online or in person, runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Both courses are offered at no cost, but space is limited. To register or learn more, visit adulted.mrpk.org/register, call (805) 334-8377, or email sabajian@mrpk.org.
