Confucius said, "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." I retired from Pacific Bell in 1994 and became a full time student first at Pierce College then Oxnard College and subsequently I transferred to UCSB. My major was Cultural Anthropology and my minor was Global Peace and Security. I have worked in the MUSD since 1998. After I began my Graduate work, I worked at Walnut Canyon's CAP (Cultural Arts Program, after school) Program. In addition to that I started subbing (mostly at Walnut Canyon) eleven years ago. I also taught Debate to the GATE students at W.C. I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for about 6 years at Flory on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Five years ago I returned to Walnut Canyon to help in all aspects of technology. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and adults and try to share a little of my Cultural Anthropology with them through items on display in my classroom.
Always remember . . .
"Geeks Rule!"
