Mesa Verde Middle School is one of two middle schools in Moorpark serving approximately 870 students in grades 6, 7 and 8. The school opened in September, 1994. The staff is comprised of 38 teachers, principal, assistant principal, a half-time program coordinator, and two full-time counselors. Instructional assistants help in various classrooms to serve special needs students in the resource specialist program, special day class and English Language Development program. There is also a part-time school psychologist and speech and language therapist. A variety of services are provided by our certificated and classified staff, including campus supervision, library, clerical, custodial, transportation, and food services.
