President's Message

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.  Another exciting year and new beginning is just around the corner.  First, I want to welcome back all returning students and parents.   For those joining us this year, welcome to the Flory family.

We start out our year with the Welcome Back Picnic on Tuesday, August 24^th from 5-7 PM at Arroyo Vista Park.  You can find out more about joining PTA at the information tables at the picnic or more information will be going home that first week of school.  We have some great programs planned this year to enrich our kids’ education and experience and would love your help.  Look for sign-ups at the picnic as well.  Here’s to another fantastic year at Flory!

Welcome back 2010-2011 teachers, students and parents. I hope everyone had a great summer. What better way to kick off the new school year but to start earning money for our school with escrip. Simply log on to www.escrip.com and register your Vons club card and Flory will start earning money right away.  Information on registering you Ralphs club and Albertsons club cards will be sent out in the next few weeks.

Mark Your Calenders …

·   Shop Vons between August 11 through September  14, 2010.

·   Purchase any items marked with the yellow school bus tags.

·   Flory will receive 10% of purchase price.

Look for a message that prints on your receipt between September 18,  through October 13, 2010.

Turn in your receipts. Drop them off in the escrip box located in the office.  Even better - go to www.escrip.com right now and sign up to support our school with your club card – this way we will receive the contribution not only the selected dates but all year long.
