Special Education Department

Message from the Director of Special Education

Our special education department is committed to providing our students with educational support and services so that each child with special needs can experience success in school. We are fortunate to have a dedicated staff, including special education teachers, school psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, instructional assistants, and office staff, who work together to ensure that our students from preschool through high school receive appropriate services.

Our goal is to work closely with school sites and parents so that we can continue to grow and develop programs based on current best practices to meet the needs of our students.  It is our privilege to work with our special education students and families in Moorpark Unified School District.
