Welcome to the new school year.  At the Moorpark Preschools our goal is to provide students with an environment where they can grow and be prepared for Kindergarten.  With that goal in mind, we have been working on our curriculum to better meet the standards based curriculum that the students will be learning in K.  Preschool children are evaluated twice a year with the DRDP (Desired Results Developmental Profile).  Staff records the students progress and meets with parents two times a year to share the child's growth. 
Parent education programs are planned for the year.  We have worked on programs that would be of interest to parents.  We have a parent advisory group that meets several times during the year.  Please let your child's teacher that you are interested in being part of the group.
We welcome your children and you as parents to participate in all the events planned for the year. 

ADULT EDUCATION PARENT PARTICIPATION PROGRAM-2009/2010 SCHOOL YEAR

PARTICIPATION IN THE CLASSROOM BY THE PARENTS IS A STATE REQUIREMENT OF THE PROGRAM.

THIS PROGRAM IS HELD AT MOUNTAIN MEADOWS SCHOOL-

ALL REGISTRATION PACKETS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A $60.00 NON REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE.

Parents must attend every class with their child in order to participate in this class
2 year olds - Friday mornings 8:45 AM TO 10:45 AM
Cost - $90.00-every 9 weeks and a one time lab fee of $40.00 


STUDENTS MUST BE 3 BY DECEMBER 2ND OF THE SCHOOL YEAR IN WHICH THEY ARE ENROLLING:
ALL 3 AND YEAR OLDS MUST BE POTTY TRAINED.

Parents MUST participate in the classroom a minimum of 2 times a month plus in addition you MUST attend 8 parenting classes that are set by the Ad. Ed. Parent Board.

3 Year olds-2 sessions available-Tuesday/Thursday-8:30 am to 11:30 am or 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
$155.00-every 9 weeks and a one time lab fee of $50.00 

4 Year olds-2 sessions available-Monday-Wednesday & Fridays-8:30 am to 11:30 am or 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
$210.00-every 9 weeks and a one time lab fee of $60.00

Walnut Canyon-Full Day-7:30am to 5:00 pm-
TUITION FEES:
2 Full Days/week =$490.00/month and a one time lab fee of $40.00 

3 Full Days/week =$610.00/month and a one time lab fee of $50.00 

5 Full Days/week =$810.00/month and a one time lab fee of $60.00

STATE GUIDELINES MANDATE THAT WE REGISTER ELIGIBLE 4 YEAR OLDS AND 3 YEAR OLDS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.
STATE INCOME ELIGIBILITY PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS-FLORY AND CAMPUS CANYON SCHOOL SITES-Free to those families that qualify. Families must provide proof of income from the previous month from which they are registering. Students attend 5 days/week 8:00 am to 11:00 am or 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Special Education is now offering a 5 day/ week combination class-call for further information about this program.
7:30 am to 4:00 pm-$650/month and a one time lab fee of $60.00 
-This class will be held at Walnut Canyon School.
