We love celebrating our students here at Walnut Canyon School!

However, in an effort to follow the MUSD Wellness Policy as well as protect students with food allergies, Walnut Canyon will no longer allow food items for birthday celebrations. Some alternatives to sweet treats could be: pencils, erasers, stickers, or even a book donated to the classroom.  Be sure to discuss plans for birthday celebrations with your child’s teacher ahead of time.

Please be respectful of these guidelines and know that any food items sent to school for a birthday celebration will be sent back home with the student.

Thank you for your cooperation.
