Welcome to the Moorpark Unified School District Board of Education page. Here you will find information regarding upcoming Board of Education Meetings, postings of prior meeting minutes, and access to the District Board Policies. The Board of Education of the Moorpark Unified School District is a group of five individuals elected by the constituents of Moorpark including unincorporated areas. The District is fortunate to have a Board that is dedicated to serving students and promotes partnerships that support and enrich the learning environment. | CONGRATULATIONS to Board Member Greg Barker for receiving the Certificate of Meritorious Public Service from the Ventura County Schools Boards Association and the Ventura County Office of Education on January 31, 2012. Mr. Barker has served the families and community of Moorpark for 20 years as a member of the Moorpark Board of Education. |

CONGRATULATIONS to Board President Ron LaGuardia and Board Vice-President Ute Van Dam for completing the California School Boards Association Masters in Governance program, a two-year certificate program that defines roles and responsibilities of school boards and provide governance teams with the tools to keep all efforts focused on student learning and achievement. Board President LaGuardia and Vice-President Van Dam join Board Members Greg Barker and Bruce Thomas in completing this very important program.
